3YE 1203 means run,

It happened about one in the morning on the A31 towards Ringwood any one that lives in this area will tell you there's not a lot about, three fire extinguishers later s**t time for 999 then the other tyres and air bags started going off to the wiring was melting so rear lights looked like a disco and the amount of people that wanted just too nip past only had 33000 ltrs of fuel on luck would have it back two were diesel scary to think if it was empty and full of vapour

a fully loaded tanker went up near me couple of years back the fire brigade just sprayed the two houses next to it till it burnt out, it melted the windows out all the houses and blistered all the paint inside and melted furniture but they stopped the houses actually burning. the truck burned for about two days

just been looking back on the internet to see if i can find a photo of the one that went up near me only to find there has been another two at the same spot. one full of diesel that left the road and landed on its side in the river and another carrying aviation fuel that the cab came of the trailer killing a van driver. wonder how many others there have been covered up

Hairy moment for sure

Caused by stretched return springs on n/s/r had a drum break up and caused brakes to run over cam stretching springs, only drum and shoes replaced slight bind on brake alloy wheel plenty of heat and pop goes tyre, red hot drum up goes the tyre and the rest is toast.

ADR videos are about 80yrs old on the course I was on

Safety of the tanks themselves have come on loads
Vapour tightness every two years
Hydraulic test every six years filled with water and pumped right up
High level fill probes bla bla

Jobs ok be better if I wasn't a contract driver only downside is joe public they can be a proper pain in the arse on forecourts etc but nice sunny days can make the difference

Know the feeling after doing agency alongside day job for more years than I care to remember because I used to enjoy it (sick in the head)still kept up class1 and ADR just in case.

You walked away so nice one.

VOSA will be knocking next to see what went on.
